The Artist
Sachin Sagare is a contemporary fine artist whose work centers on the emotional and everyday worlds of rural women. Growing up in Maharashtra’s Pandharpur, he was deeply influenced by the hardworking women around him, especially his mother and grandmother. Sachin’s works have been widely exhibited in solo and group exhibitions across India. His paintings are recognized for their expressive faces, delicate line work, and distinctive use of vibrant color.

The Inspiration
This sari depicts three women carrying flowers as they walk toward a temple.
The scene captures a quiet village moment, simple yet meaningful. The women move with serenity, their journey reflecting faith, daily ritual, devotion, and community life.
The work honors women, celebrating their resilience, emotional strength, and the grace with which they navigate responsibility and care. Through floral motifs and gentle composition, the sari conveys calmness alongside endurance, presenting women as lived realities.

From Sari to Art
This was Sachin’s first time working on a sari, which made the process both exciting and challenging.
Translating his vision onto fabric required patience and adaptation. Moving from conventional surfaces to textile demanded sensitivity to flow and drape. The experience became a learning process, expanding his artistic journey into wearable storytelling.

Message for the World
This sari evokes strength and serenity.
It honors women who carry responsibility with grace, moving quietly yet powerfully through life.
Strength in softness.
Devotion in motion.
