Moments held like jars,
Threads that drift and sway,
Memory finds its way."

The Inspiration
Unsettled Horizons captures the tension between motion and belonging, reflecting the perpetual journey of life. It evokes cities, landscapes, and the emotional terrains we traverse, while also pointing to the quiet anchor of identity that persists through movement.
It invites the wearer to inhabit stories of journeys past and present, wrapped in elegance, grace, and a sense of continuity.

From Sari to Art
Painting on silk required patience, precision, and a deep understanding of the fabric’s character. Vimmi experimented with silk-specific colors and soft natural hair brushes to achieve tonal balance without compromising the drape and fluidity of the sari.
Maintaining color consistency across multiple days of work was a challenge, as was ensuring that every brushstroke harmonized with the overall rhythm of the design.
Every fold, hue, and detail was considered with the wearer in mind, so that the sari goes beyond just telling a story but moves gracefully when worn.

Message for the World
The sari asks the wearer to feel both the exhilaration of journeys and the quiet strength of belonging.
A reminder that every horizon we cross shapes who we are.
